Students of Grade VII, IX and XI spend 1 class per week as part of their timetable in self learning an online course of their choice.
A list of age and content appropriate courses are selected from platforms such as Coursera, Udemy, etc. and presented to students.
Some of the selected courses include Child nutrition & cooking (Offered by Stanford), Food, health & nutrition (Offered by Stanford), Animal behavior and welfare (offered by The University of Edinburgh) and Introductory human physiology.
These courses normally have a time commitment of 25 or 30 hours with intermittent learning checks or assignments. A course completion certificate is provided to students at the end of each course.
Through this, we open a new window of learning for students & sow seeds for a habit of life long self learning.
