NCC is a youth development movement with enormous potential for nation building. Selected cadets get opportunities for all-round development with a sense of Duty, Commitment, Dedication, Discipline and Moral Values so that they become able leaders and useful citizens. Cadets are exposed to a wide range of activities with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training.

We have the following troops functioning in our school.

• 1 troop (100 cadets) under 2(TN) Naval Unit NCC, Madurai, Tamilnadu.
• 1 half troop (50 cadets) under 4(TN) Engr COY NCC, Idayapatti, Tamilnadu

Cadets are selected based on their fitness, cultural skills and academic standing. Cadets undergo weekly parade, sports & theory classes. On a regular basis, cadets immerse themselves in community service events.

Every cadet undergoes CATC (Combined Annual Training Camp) at the end of first year. Cadets who exemplify the motto of NCC with exemplary skills are selected for next camps. Through selection at subsequent camps, a cadet gets the opportunity to participate in Republic Day Camp (RDC) that is held in the month of January every year. At RDC, cadets participate in various events to learn & compete.

At the end of two years of service, each cadet undertakes NCC ‘A’ Certificate exam. Apart from this, cadets also get opportunities to participate in various training camps organised by the NCC Command.
